FASHION X Redchurch Street, E1

Yesterday I went down to the Fashion X Showroom & Pop 'In' Boutique in Redchurch Street, E1. I was invited by Deborah Debonaire, the mastermind & designer behind the idea. The concept being to take over a gallery space in Redchurch Street to showcase emerging UK and international design talent during and after London Fashion Week.

Based in the heart of East London, Fashion- X have created a showroom and conceptual pop-in space at the Outside World Gallery, where a series of events will be taking place through to 28th September, as an extension of London Fashion Week.
Founder Deborah Debonair explained the inspiration for Fashion-X to me yesterday as
I went to drop off a DJ NIKKI mixed soundtrack for their Fashion X guerilla fashion show yesterday, have a chat, hang out and drool over the clothes :)

Deborah said “We struck up the idea after listening to the wants of young designers and creative’s who had no money to showcase their work on a big stage. The combination of the current economic climate and the monopolisation of the Fashion week arena by the big name designers make it near impossible for their voices to be heard.”
''Fashion-X aims to offer emerging designers great exposure to the UK market in addition to providing them with a nurturing support network. Our services include everything from look book layout, show styling, press and PR in addition to facilitating introductions to the World’s best Buyers''
Check out some of the great pieces they had, I only had my camera phone, so excuse the pic quality please!
Prices start from £50

Chas and Dave split :( !

I was so sad to hear yesterday that London legends Chas and Dave have split after 35 years together. Bassist and singer Dave Peacock is to retire from the music business following the death of his wife Sue from lung cancer in July. I once saw them on an Easy Jet flight and now fully regret not asking for my first autograph. If it was my only one- it would have been a good un'
Chas and dave forever...

My favourite Chas and Dave record is 'London Girls'- such a tune!
Pianist Chas Hodges said he will honour their touring commitments under the new name of Chas And His Band.

Farringdons bigged up my DJ sets on their blog today

Kano's new Video- Rock N Roller.. This one's for you Tash

My friend Tash (stylist extraordinaire) has an unheathy interest in this young man lol
I think Kano could do with Miss Natasha Chang Lewis' help in the styling stakes- so they would make the perfect couple...here is Kano wearing an ok outfit (in his new Video Rock n Roller), check the fantastic Jeremy Scott for Adidas trainers, that I actually possess too. (except mine a gold and better :)
The tune is quite good could do with some dirty remixes to give it more kick.

The world has to know about her.
