The Fashbashsoundclash Xmas Party was Amazing!

Sorry, no pics yet! I've been too busy in the studio and working and havnt got all the Xmas Fashbash pics from the photographer as yet. The party was pretty damn amazing with DJ Sets from me Statis and Six-3 but our Beatnik family artists absolutely smashed it, Zest, XOMAN and the astounding Terri Walker performed live...all the tunes we have been busy in the studio with this year! It was a really fun night, if you didnt make it- you need to get your lazy arses to the next Fashbash pronto.

Backstage Kelis Show for Russian Standard Vodka, last night Kentish Town Forum

Here we are after the show last night at K's signing at the Kentish Town Forum. Rashida flew in on a flight from LA and came straight to soundcheck and rehearsals. I must say the sound in the venue was a bit weird with a lot of echos and it was about 1 degree in the venue all day! The gig went well, with the exception of a couple of Serato glitches, which meant doing a live RWD during Emancipate- but as usual K was unflappable and was not phased by it. I think the crown pretty much loved it still and we had fun, I'm off to Paraguay this week to do a show there...ill try to update when I get back next week. N x

The collection is super fly, my favourite as always are the shoes, bags and accessories, but there were some amazing silk mix coloured pieces too- T-shirts, peg- leg trousers and dresses in bright reds pinks and purple.

Its been madness, with people queueing up from last night to get in first! Having said that, there is so much stock this time that I think they could have waited and still got all the pieces they wanted. But fun times and great atmosphere!

NAILGIRLS! YEY!

Last week I went for a decadent treat at Nailgirls in Islington London. Purveyors of all things nail, from manicures to nail art, pedicures to Minx Nailgirls is the cutest salon in a gorgeous little row of shops on Cross Street that begs investigation.
The salon is run by sisters Jo & Lynda- Louise Burrell who set up Nailgirls after working in NY and missing their weekly and affordable weekly mani- pedi on return to London town.

Its obvious from their salon they have worked hard to put Nailgirls on the map, how many salons do you know that have their own product range when they launch, which has only been 1 year ago and already had all the major glossies & fashionista's talking about them. Their nail polishes (which are bigger than the average bottle) are free from Formaldehyde Camphor & Toluene and come in over 60 colours which they update seasonally ahead of key trends.

In short- these ladies know nails and they have a clear vision for a Fashion led salon. They have also done catwalk nails for everyone from Erdem to Antipodium

I went along last week for some nail art, but I was in desperate need of a pedicure, so I had their luxurious Pedi instead. It was just what the doctor ordered. I was buffed, scrubbed & massaged, then hot towels were placed over my feet and then my nails were painted a gorgeous bright red.

It took a relaxing hour which went fast as I chatted to my therapist who was adorable but not at all pushy. You could go here and completely zone out and chill if you wanted to. Thats the beauty of Nailgirls, they get the service spot on, they know what women want and give it to you. They have already had press from Vogue to Marie- Claire and is obvious why.

I will be going back for some nail art for def, the other thing I like is they are experts in nail care and upkeep as well as giving you a choice of shapes from my dreaded 'square' to oval.

LANVIN LANVIN LANVIN for H&M!!!! My delivery came!!!!

When Lanvin’s exclusive collection for H&M arrives in store on November 23, I will be DJing alongside Statis at the Oxford Circus Shop
With separate collections of womenswear and menswear, Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin, has created some beautiful dresses and classic pieces with a twist for H&M.
Today was a great day- I took delivery of a pretty coral dress some gorgeous Lanvin flower shoes and a dope faux fur jacket.
Below are pics of the collection, its shot really well and conveys a fun, classic French with a twist vibe. I actually love this collection, I have DJ'd for lots of the H&M launches and I think this is my favourite yet as the cut and quality is so good.
